The Charge program is designed to ensure progress. The startup will go through different cycles that focus on specific areas, from concept and business model to product development and testing - all aimed at making your product or service ready for the market. In each cycle the startup will be given mentoring and advice tailored to meet the specific needs at the moment.
CYCLE 1 - PRECHARGE
The applicants with the most promising ideas are invited to a 3 days Charge Camp, where the group will go through workshops, tasks and challenges. After a 3-day boot camp two startups will be selected for the Charge Inclubator programme.
CYCLE 2 - RECHARGE
This cycle will focus on concept, strategy and business model which will lay the foundation for intensive product development and testing. The aim is for the startup to have a clear concept and solid strategies within product, technology and business by the end of this cycle.
CYCLE 3 - SUPERCHARGE
In this cycle the product is in focus. The startups will work on development, testing and valuation together with tech and industry partners that can help with metric focused iteration and analytics. Towards the end of the cycle, the aim is to have a validated conceptual interest amongst target groups and potential partners.
CYCLE 4 - LAUNCH
In the final cycle we prepare for launch. The startups will learn about and work with funding, go to market strategy and communication, ultimately moving closer towards the goal of successfully launching a product or service.
The Charge MODEL
Charge is not a traditional startup program - it is a mobile incubator. We believe network and industry insight is key to succeeding with a business when you are new to a country. The startups in Charge will be hosted by industry partners that provide valuable experience and an inclusive, vibrant work environment.
