CommUnity Project
Empowering adult entrepreneurs to build resilient communities.
-
The CommUnity project seeks to address social and economic inequalities by empowering local communities through sustainable growth.
Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 8, 10, and 11) and key EU strategies like the European Pillar of Social Rights and the European Skills Agenda, the project focuses on upskilling adults, particularly small business owners, in countries such as Belgium, Norway, Italy, Poland, and Lithuania.
By providing flexible, high-quality adult education, CommUnity promotes social inclusion, economic resilience, and sustainable business practices. Supporting SMEs—the backbone of the European economy—this initiative strengthens local economies, reduces disparities, and fosters lifelong learning.

CHARGE plays a pivotal role in creating networks between entrepreneurs and investors, fostering business growth and long-term sustainability.
Within the project, CHARGE leads the investment-readiness component, delivering training to help entrepreneurs secure funding and connect with angel investors.
In Norway, we will host three workshops and an ideathon to support the development of sustainable business models that align with community welfare goals. We also oversee the creation of the Norwegian Business Welfare Plan, ensuring it includes strategies for sustainable growth and investment readiness.
Additionally, CHARGE contributes research on community welfare initiatives and supports the development of investment-related resources into the project’s digital platform.
