Cross-Nordic Collaboration on Social Entrepreneurship

9 May 2025

Recently, CHARGE had the pleasure of participating in an inspiring and insightful meeting in Helsinki with our Nordic partners.

  • Denmark: Sociale Entreprenører i Danmark (SED)

  • Sweden: SE Forum

  • Finland: Valo-Valmennusyhdistys (Valo)

We were invited to VALO’s offices through the Erasmus+ Adult Education Mobility Programme, where we shared knowledge and best practices for strengthening social entrepreneurship across the Nordic region.

Key Highlights from the Meeting

  • National strategies and support structures for social enterprises in Denmark, Finland, and Sweden.

  • Challenges and opportunities faced by social enterprises—and how we can better support them as ecosystem actors.

  • Insights into Finland’s Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises (YYO), a national initiative that improves business conditions, fosters regional networks, and promotes inclusive employment. Learn more
